Head of Litigation at Coakley Moloney and a qualified Solicitor of over 26 years standing, Julian is also a Mediator and Arbitrator and has been admitted as a fellow of the Institute of Arbitrators of Ireland. Julian engages in all areas of Litigation with particular focus on high value/high net worth cases for both Plaintiffs and Defendants.
He has extensive experience in acting as Defence Solicitor for a number of the largest insurance companies in the State and by whom he is consulted on an ongoing basis for advice in matters concerning Defence and Dispute resolution, while also advising on coverage issues, liability and matters of quantum and reserves.
In addition, Julian is the Solicitor of choice for a large range of clients requiring representation in prosecuting and defending professional negligence actions. He has acted as Arbitrator and represented parties in complex arbitrations and mediations. Julian is highly respected in the profession and has a reputation for a no nonsense and practical, solutions-based approach to problems encountered by his clients.
